My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge… Hosea 4:6a

Did you notice something in our main verse? God is not saying that sinners are destroyed, but he is referring to his own holy People. If he was not referring to holy people, he wouldn’t have used the term “my people”. Now, let me show you another portion from the Bible: “They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes”(Psalm 82:5-7). God is telling his people that you all are gods and children of the most high but even then you will die like normal men, just because you lack knowledge.

These people who were in a covenant with God, were considered by God as his children. God is not bound by time. Though, they were not born again as yet, God knew that a time would come when they would be saved through Jesus Christ. So right from the times of the Old Testament, he started referring to his people as His children. God distinguished between his children and ordinary men. True humility is in accepting His truth, and updating your consciousness with His Word.

Refuse to live like an ordinary person. Refuse to suffer, refuse to be poor, refuse to be a victim of the devil. God has given you a new life. Practice divine consciousness. Flood your thoughts with the truth of His Word. When you do this, you will discover a new dimension of the supernatural flowing in your life every day. It is that easy.

When a child is born, he is born with all the organs. He doesn’t need a third leg. All he needs is to train both of his legs to walk. And, in due course of time, he begins to walk. So shall it be, with you; as you renew your mind each day by studying his Word(ref. Romans 12:2). Learn to think by his Word, and you will be transformed. Speak in accordance with His Word and consciously refuse to talk and live ordinarily.

Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for teaching me your Word. I acknowledge your presence and embrace the truth of your Word. I flood my mind with your thoughts, and I grow each day. I live through you and in you, inChrist Jesus. I worship you, in the name of Jesus. Amen
