Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily. (Colossians 1:29)

One of the most glorious things that, we have in Christ Jesus, is the Holy spirit who lives in us. The spirit of God deposits in us immense power. Acts 1:8 says, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” These are the very words of Jesus before his assent to heaven.

Jesus promised that, the Holy Spirit would come, and described him as the one who will give us power. This power of the Holy Spirit, is not just for the shaking of hands or shaking of the body or for feeling the anointing. The word ‘power’ here, is derived from the Greek word called “Dunamis”. Which actually means the dynamic ability to produce a change. Look again into our main verse for today. We see the consciousness of Paul there, he was so much conscious that he spoke that he works with the power of God, and that this mighty power of God is working right inside him.

Being enlightened to the power of the Holy Spirit is so important. You’ve been empowered with authority to do the impossible, and filled with the dynamic ability to cause changes as you desire. This power will work anywhere, and under any circumstance: put it to work in your family, finances, job, health or in your business.

Prayer:
Precious Father, thank you for filling me with the Holy Spirit, which teaches me in all things. I am conscious of your power that works in me. And I refuse to be careless towards my life. I work each day to mature and grow spiritually. My fellowship with you is important to me. I want to know more and grow fast. I honour you and thank you for this privilege. In Jesus name. Amen.
