All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Spiritually mature are those who have come to spiritual manhood. In them, the Word of the Lord is fulfilled. Through the Holy Spirit, these ones are able to understand and interpret the mind of God, and establish His righteousness.

It’s not enough to be born again; there’s so much more in God to enjoy. How much liberty of the Spirit that you’ll enjoy depends on the spiritual knowledge of God’s Word that you have. His blessings that you’ll enjoy in your life depend on the knowledge of Him that you have in your spirit, which in turn causes you to be spiritually mature.

Maturity is not a one-day show. Maturity is a result of, how much you have walked with, the Lord. Every time you choose to hear his voice and obey Him; every time you choose to fellowship with Him; every time you choose to do His way, it adds up to your spiritual maturity. The more you understand Him and His Word, the more you grow. It’s like digging deep; the likelihood of getting gold from the soil is way more when you dig deep. Maturity comes when you dig deeper into the Word of God.

Therefore, strive to be spiritually mature. The Scriptures have the capacity to build you unto maturity. Bible says : “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified” (Acts 20:32).

Prayer:
Precious Father, I thank you for giving me lessons on spiritual maturity. I give myself wholly to the Word of God, and I’m maturing in my spirit each day, being mightily used by God for the kingdom, in Jesus Name. Amen!
