And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. (Matthew 14:29)

The life on earth is full of opportunities of walking on the water. Walking on the water is depending on God’s word irrespective of all the situations. When Jesus gave the word to Peter to come and walk on the water, Peter trusted on the master’s words and came out of the boat and he miraculously walked on the water just like Jesus (Mathew 14:28-29). God has given you His Word, so that in the midst of all the troubles of this world you may depend yourselves, on His Word and live a supernatural life which is above the troubles of this world. God’s Word is not only dependable but it is creative. God created the entire universe by speaking his words. The Word of God on which we depend ourselves on, actually creates the solution for us. The words which Jesus spoke to Peter for walking on the water actually enabled the miracle to happen.

We must continue to depend ourselves on the Word of God and not get afraid like Peter did. When Peter saw the fierce winds, he got afraid and he began to sink (Mathew 14:30). The water didn’t change, neither did the words of Jesus change. Peter shifted from faith to fear. Don’t look at your situation and act cowardly. Refuse to recognize the situations and rather continually depend yourselves on God’s word.

Prayer:
Father, I thank you for choosing me and separating me unto the gospel. I thank you for teaching the ways to depend on God’s Word. I declare today in Jesus name that I would walk on the water no matter what the situations may try to show me. Amen!
