Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son (Colossians 1:13)
In Christ we have been called into kingdom life, a life where every day is an unending gusher of the miraculous and supernatural. When Jesus walked the earth, He lived the Kingdom life. His life and ministry were miraculous and supernatural. He fed five thousand men with a little boy’s lunch (women and children not counted). He healed the sick, walked on water, raised the dead. He did so many other supernatural things, which are recorded for us in the Bible. However, when Jesus performed these miracles, for Him it was not something he had to struggle to extract out of himself, it was just an out working of the kingdom life in Him.
The things Jesus did, and the way He lived shows the way we ought to live and function today, because we are partakers of the kingdom life. Bible says: “…as He is so are we in this world(1 John 4:17). The same life which was in Him, is in you today. The more knowledge of the Word, you will fill yourself with the more you will be able to live out, the kingdom life.
Many live as ordinary men due to their ignorance of the Word (Psalm 82:5). Refuse to live an ordinary life. Be awakened to the reality of kingdom life, by meditating on the Word of God. Consciously practise the kingdom life by living out God’s Word.
Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank you for giving me the kingdom life. I live out the miraculous everyday. As I study the Word, and increase in the knowledge of this life, I practice it consciously and bring glory to the kingdom, in Jesus Name. Amen
