Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. (2 Peter 1:2 NIV)
We read yesterday that grace is a divine influence in man’s Spirit. When divine influence works in man’s spirit there are things you see outwardly. One of the things that you see in the life of a graced person is acceptability.
Acceptability doesn’t mean everyone will like you, but every well-meaning person surely will. However, whether or not a person likes you there will be something about you that will cause them to give you acceptability. People won’t know why they gave you that job, that contract, that deal; but they will still do it, because when the grace of God follows you it singles you out, it causes people to give you what you weren’t even qualified for. There is just something about you, that everyone wants you.
There are folks who have been working hard for years on a certain educational qualification, or a job or a business or even a relationship but all they get is rejection, what they need in their life is grace.
With grace in your life, everything responds to you. But remember, He said “grow in it” (2 Peter 3:18). So grow in it through the knowledge of God’s Word.
Confession:
I function in abundant grace, I have acceptability. The grace of God upon my life singles me out for great achievements. I grow in grace more and more through the knowledge of Him who made us and called us to glory! Hallelujah!
