And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. (Luke 2:52)
The grace of God, when at work in a person causes them to become a magnet of favour. When His grace functions in you, you see favour is attracted towards you. This is one of the most amazing and beautiful out-workings of grace.
This is the kind of favour which is unfair, because you get those things without effort, which others are looking and striving for. They may say, “But that’s not fair, I deserved it more…”, but that’s what the grace of God does for you, it gives you beyond your qualification and effort. No matter whom you work with, you will have favour, be it the boss or a subordinate. Grace gives you favour with seniors as well as juniors. The Bible says, Jesus had favour with God and men. Good is turned towards you because of grace.
The interesting fact is, the more you use the grace the more favour you have. And, as you increase in the knowledge of God and His Word, this grace is multiplied in your life. So continually grow in knowledge and thus grow in grace.
Prayer:
Blessed Heavenly Father, thank you for your grace, which is at work in me and causes me to have favour. As I receive favour, I use it to glorify your Name and expand the kingdom of righteousness. Amen!
