This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night…for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then shalt have good success (Joshua 1:8).

When we study the scriptures, it is important that we meditate on it. Every time you study the scriptures and learn specific things, the Holy Spirit brings to your attention, you have to meditate on them. For the Word of God to produce result in your life, it must be meditated upon. Through meditation, you drive the Word deep into your spirit.

In meditating on the Word of God, you ruminate over a Scripture, ponder upon it, and mutter it to yourself continuously. God wants you to meditate on the Word this way because He knows that as you do, it will get into your spirit and become personal to you.

Meditating on the Word will give you an understanding, a motivation, and an inspiration to do what God wants you to do. Practice meditating on the scriptures after studying them, for at least fifteen minutes every day, and gradually increase it to half and hour and further. This will cause you to see dynamic development in your life, and supernatural achievements in every area of your life.

Prayer:
Precious Father, I thank you for the gift of the Holy Bible. As I study and meditate on the scriptures, I’m able to stand firm in faith and make dynamic achievements in my life. I’m transformed from glory to glory through the propelling power of the Word, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen!
