But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:33 NIV)
Many people are of the thought that, one has to hold a very prestigious job title or be at a certain rank in order to proclaim the Gospel in their place of work. Others think that they must separate their faith and profession; and even go on to say: “Oh I keep my profession free from my faith”. That’s a wrong idea hatched by devil, and put in minds of people.
No matter your profession,rank or job profile; you are a Christian first. You must know that God is the one who placed you at that position, to be an Ambassador of this Gospel of Jesus Christ. To keep your profession above God, is utter foolishness.
Be excellent at your workplace, demonstrate the wisdom of God and take over the workplace with, the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your job is your opportunity to express the excellence God has deposited within you. There’s so much within you that the world can benefit from, and most importantly from the desposition of God’s Word and His love in you. Don’t shy out or be limited at your place of work. Remember, you have been put there as God’s light(ref. Matthew 5:14-17), shine on!

Dear Father, I thank you for making me your shining and burning light in this world. I rejoice in you for giving me the opportunity to win the christless in my world and have them transformed into the image of Christ. I take my responsibility as a Christian seriously and never shy out from proclaiming the Gospel with boldness and power, in Jesus precious Name. Amen!
