Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows (Luke 12:6-7)
Some people think that God deals with numbers. They think that if more number of people are involved in a certain problem, He quickly deals with that issue. That’s not true. God deals with each one of us personally on the basis of our faith.
The Bible lets us know that, once upon a time, everyone in the world was destroyed by flood, with the exception of Noah and his family. It was Noah’s faith that singled him out for such a miracle, not because he had a large family: “By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith” (Hebrews 11:7). Your faith is the basis of pleasing Him; it’s got nothing to do with numbers.
As a matter of fact, God didn’t send Jesus to the world because there were many people on earth, no, even if you would have been the only person, God would have still sent Jesus. God loves you that much – as a person. He knows you and relates with you as a unique individual.
Life is personal, and so is your salvation and your relationship with God. Therefore, don’t use the experiences of others to determine the flow of your life. It matters what you listen to and allow to influence your mentality. God deals with you personally, depending on your personal demonstration of faith. He can do for you what he’s never done for anyone else, just because you required it and asked Him in faith.
