So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17)

A lot of Christians believe that anything that sounds good, attractive and positive is from God. But that’s not necessary. This erroneous idea is what makes people land into unnecessary challenges. The basis of faith is nothing except God’s Word.

You must have the Word of God as the basis for your believing and confession, for faith is based on God’s Word; it’s the response of the human spirit to the Word of God.

Mere positive feeling or intuition is not a substitute for faith, for it doesn’t have its foundation on God’s Word. It doesn’t matter how much you anticipate or are hopeful for the best possible outcome in an endeavor, it still wouldn’t work if your hope doesn’t translate to faith, and faith comes only by the Word of God.
No prayer works without faith and faith is based on the Word of God.

Prayer:
Precious Father, thank you for your Word which is the builder and maker of my faith. I depend on your Word and not on feelings. I’m energized for victory through the power of your Word, in Jesus Name. Amen!
