For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them (Mark 11: 23-24).
In our main verse we see our Lord Jesus, proclaim that no matter the measure of your faith, it will always produce results, the only condition is, you must not doubt in your heart. Doubt nullifies every act of faith.
When you’ve prayed for something you desire, it’s important you don’t allow doubt into your heart. This is a very essential faith-principle in prayer. You must believe and talk, according to your prayer of faith, and know that you have already received what you have asked of the Lord, and soon enough you will see it in the physical realm.
When you doubt, you uproot your faith seed. You make your prayer of faith, empty. It’s like a farmer who plants a seed one day and uproots it the next; then he plants it again and uproots the following day. That seed will never grow, as a result, he’ll never have harvest from it no matter how much he desires a harvest.
Fill yourself with the Word of God and act on the Word. This is the only way you will develop strong faith. Abraham had strong faith! He called himself “Father of many” even when he didn’t have any physical descendants; he was strong in faith, giving glory to God (ref. Romans 4:20). He gave no room for doubt. That’s what you must also emulate.
Prayer:
Precious Heavenly Father, I thank you for teaching me principles of faith. I refuse to doubt as I pray in faith and receive that which I desire. I refuse to stagger at the Word of God through unbelief; but I’m strong in faith, giving glory to God. My faith is alive and strong, in Jesus mighty Name. Amen!
