In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. (James 2:17 NIV)

For your faith to be active and working, it must be backed with corresponding action. Faith that doesn’t act is dead, and thus ineffective.

When you pray in faith for a particular purpose, desire or miracle; you must find out from the Word of God; the exact instruction, promise or prophecy concerning it. Then you need to declare and decree it into being through your confessions. That’s the way you express your faith. These few corresponding actions of faith cause you to actuate it. God wants you to demonstrate your faith through your actions.

When you study the ministry of Jesus, you will discover He always wanted people to express their faith. In Mark 10:46-52 we find the account of blind Bartimaeus; he repeatedly cried out to Jesus for healing. You’d have expected the Master to heal him right away, but that wasn’t what happened. Jesus came face to face with him, and asked him what he wanted. It was evident to see that the man was blind and wanted healing, but nevertheless Master Jesus asked him so that he expresses his faith. So, when the blind man said to Him, “I want to receive my sight,” the Lord went ahead and healed him.

Quit complaining, quit crying, instead act on your faith. Express it and keep backing it with actions and you shall have whatsoever you say(ref. Mark 11:23).

Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank you for your great love. Thankyou for teaching me the principles of faith. I rejoice knowing that through my faith, I have the victory , in Jesus Name. Amen!
