And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit.
( Genesis 1:29A)
One of the mind-blowing statements which Jesus made while he was on earth was, that we are not the ones who chose him, rather, he chose us. And not only that, he chose us so that we may have fruits, and our fruits shall never be destroyed.
What is the meaning of fruit? If we see literally, a tree bears a fruit. In this context, the good works which come as a result of our righteous life are the fruits. Our testimonies are our fruits. The miracles and the supernaturally achieved results are our fruits. The wonderful thing about fruit is that it has a seed in it.
In the Old Testament, we see that on numerous occasions, got commanded his people to build a memorial. The purpose behind that memorial was so that the future generation, will see them and remember the great works which God had done in their lives. This also worked as an inspiration for them, to believe in God, that, God is the same yesterday today, and forever. And as he has done in the past, he will do in the present and the future.
In your walk of faith, in your spiritual journey, you can build memorials.
There is a natural human tendency to remember the bad experiences. However, there are very few, who would naturally remember the miraculous moments. When was it when you last received a financial miracle? When was it when you received the healing? Do you still remember them? When was it when you got promoted? When was it when He delivered you from a difficult situation? Do you remember them? Your life is a result of God’s faithfulness. Let God’s goodness, not become a casual affair to your life. Device methods to make memorials.
This can be a diary, poster, or a video or picture that you post over social media which can remind you about the miraculous things that happened with you. They are important. Every miracle has a seed of another miracle.
In the church, while we gather together, there is a segment in the service where we come forward and testify. Not only does God get the glory, but this also works as a seed of miracle to someone else who might be facing a similar situation. If he has done it once, he will do it again. God never changes. The principles of faith never fails. It may be possible that you are in a situation where you need his intervention right now. Remember, your victories of the past. Fire up your faith. Remind yourself of your faith steps. What was it that you did the last time? Did you fast? Did you meditate on God’s word? Did you spend hours in prophecy? Take more aggravated steps now in accordance with the word of God.

Father, I thank you that your word builds faith in my life. I am charged by your spirit to do great things. Thank you that you have chosen me and have ordered me to bear fruits. And my fruits shall never be destroyed in Jesus’ name. Amen.
