The present world, due to the dominance of social media is constantly living to please others. I heard a great Man of God once say: “If you try to please everyone, you will surely displease God and also end up pleasing no one”. How true is that!
As a child of God, you shouldn’t bother about being esteemed by men, it doesn’t mean anything! Men may call you a failure or success, but that wouldn’t make you a failure or success. They may call you poor, it doesn’t mean you’re poor. They may call you a ‘nobody’, but that doesn’t make you a ‘nobody’. They may call you the “greatest of all time”, and it still wouldn’t mean anything. The only opinion that matters in life is God’s opinion of you.
Study the Word of God, and you will find out that He calls you a bundle of success; He calls you the rich, prosperous and victorious. He calls you someone special: His peculiar treasure! These are His opinions of you and they’re the opinions that count.
Refuse to set your mind on others opinion you. Refuse to let your life be dictated by the fickle opinion of world. Let only God’s opinion matter in your life.
Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank you for teaching me the right value of opinions. I refuse to give any value to the opinions of men. I only give value to the opinion of God of me. I channelise my mind towards building myself on God’s opinion of me, in Jesus precious Name. Amen!
