Be gracious in your speech. The goal is to bring out the best in others in a conservation, not put them down or cut them out (Colossians 4:6 MSG)

Have you ever found yourself in a position where you love someone, and they don’t feel loved by you? If yes, then there is a problem with your way of speech and communication. It’s very important that you use right words, words of grace not of condemnation, words of love not of judgement, when you speak. The manner in which you speak a thing, may change the effect of that thing on the person you are speaking it to. Paul emphasized on this in Ephesians 4:29, saying, “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers”.

Our Man of God, Pastor Zion, is a perfect demonstration of gracious communication. I have never seen a person go bad, after Pastor ministered or admonished him/her. I have only seen them elevate to higher dimension of thinking; leaving their old childish ways. Pastor, always brings out the best in people, not putting them down or cutting them out. Being an Ambassador of Zion, you ought to follow the example of our Man of God.

See others with the eyes of God and address them that way. Be humble in your communication (James 4:6). Don’t use hurtful words to address people and don’t raise your voice against them. Be courteous, be respectful, and gracious in your relationship with others.

Confession:

I am gracious in my speech. I bring out the best in others and never cut them down. No corrupt communication ever comes out of my mouth but that which is good for edification. I minister grace when I speak and everyone who hears me witnesses the love of God, in Jesus Name. Amen!
