But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)
Having lack in a person’s life is more spiritual than physical. Lack is not, having nothing, but it is a state in which a person in unable to receive from God’s supply. Mentally one believes that he has nothing and spiritually, he is filled with the fears of lack. Fear is having faith in the power of the adversaries. It happens many times with those who are in the state of lack that they begin to fear and imagine themselves in bad situations even though everything is right with them but since they are in the state of lack, those things which they feared about actually become real in their lives.
Paul in the above scriptures was bold to talk to the people of Philippi that, His God will supply for all their needs. The interesting thing about this statement is this that He doesn’t include himself in getting provision, for all his needs, not because he didn’t want to get things but because he was already operating in the super abundance. He knew that he is an heir of God in Christ Jesus and, he went on to speak to the brothers in Galatia that they belonged to Christ and they are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:29).
Refuse to have lack mentality and embrace the mentality of a child of God. Live in the consciousness of who you are and what belongs to you in Christ!
