And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: (Ephesians 2:6)
When you received Jesus as your Lord and saviour, in the realms of the Spirit you were transported and made to have a heavenly place. Today, while you live on earth by the power of the Name of Jesus, you are seated together with Him, in heavenly places. That’s exactly what our main verse tells us.
Many people think that our main verse refers to a Christian’s place in heaven after death, but that’s not true. This is actually, your present hour reality. And, this is what gives you the authority over devil and all the power of darkness.
Today, you have the authority over devils and the powers of darkness just like Jesus Christ. He has given it to you, as you abide in Him now. Your authority isn’t based on your ability; it’s based on the authority of Christ. All of nature and creation, including Satan and his cohorts, have been commanded to hear and obey you, just as they were commanded to hear and obey Jesus (ref. Matthew 17:5). Live in the glory of this knowledge. Live in dominion over all the forces of the evil one, every single day because you are seated together with, Christ Jesus.
Prayer:
Dear Father, thank you for the glorious authority you have given to me. I am seated together with Christ in the heavenly realms, far above all principality and power! I exercise the authority of Christ in my world, in Jesus Name. Amen!
