To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27)

A Christian is never hopeless, because we belong to Christ. Any situation, place or position we enter into we generate hope. The word ‘hope’ in our main verse comes from Greek word ‘elpis’, which means confident expectation.

Hope is often misunderstood as ‘waiting without expectation’, but that’s not hope; hope is a blessed assurance of desired outcome. Hope is like “potential energy”; which means it’s a possibility that could be realized if you look at it with your spirit, because that’s when it becomes real and effective. Hope must always translate into faith.

Hope is a powerful force. When people become hopeless, they could give up. But once you have hope, then the thing you’re hoping for suddenly becomes a confident expectation which turns into reality through your faith

With Christ in you and you in Him, you have hope of glory.

Prayer:
Dear Father, thank you for calling me in Christ and giving me the hope of glory. I’m never hopeless because I have the blessed assurance that Jesus is mine. Amen!
