But even before I was born, God chose me and called me by his marvelous grace. Then it pleased him to reveal his Son to me so that I would proclaim the Good News about Jesus to the Gentiles. When this happened, I did not rush out to consult with any human being. (Galatians 1:15-16 NLT)
God has called each of His children to be achievers. He has called us to make waves in our world, with the message of this Gospel of Jesus Christ. And we can’t make it happen by ourselves or by any human consultation or effort, but by the Holy Spirit.
Sometimes people think not everyone is called, some people receive Jesus Christ as savior and Lord, by chance, and then get involved in ministry also by chance. That’s not true. It is His calling and purpose that makes us achievers. For example Apostle Paul, was predestined to be a great soldier of Jesus Christ and His Gospel; what happened to him on the way to Damascus was to bring him to the light of his calling (ref. Acts 9). Paul understood this and thus made the statement recorded in our main verses for today. And we all know the impact he made in his life with the message of the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The sooner you yield to the Holy Spirit, the sooner you will be able to come to the light of your calling as an achiever, and the greater would be your impact. Until you stop pushing your calling away by not taking the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you will keep delaying your impact and achievements. The fact that you have come in contact with this message today is because you were chosen for it. The world will find out through you that those who are in Christ are not ordinary people. You will bear fruits of impact that will sustain the effect of times and seasons and shall never wither or rot.
You are an achiever. You are born for it. Recognise God’s calling and purpose in your life and then make it your joy to fulfill it.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for making me an achiever. Thank you for choosing me to make an impact with the Gospel in the world and bear fruits that abide. I’m focused towards fulfilling my calling with abundant joy that overflows. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
