Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6 NKJV)
Being anxious is never helpful. When a person is worried, they may short-circuit the power of God. A great miracle could be on your way as a result of your prayer and faith; however, if you don’t chase the worry out, you may nullify the grace of God. Worrying is a state of mind where a person is restless. Usually, a person is worried when they cannot figure out how or when a change will take place.
The grace of God cannot be explained physically. You cannot reason out the method when it has to do with grace. God created everything—the heavens and the earth. He’s Almighty, all-powerful, and for Him, bringing any change is not difficult at all. All you need to do is trust in the grace and stand on God’s Word. Refuse to worry. Don’t let worry take over the situation; rather, exercise the peace of God.
The peace of God will help you and give you the assurance that, no matter what the situation is, it will turn in your favor. You have not prayed and exercised your faith for nothing. All you are required to do is give God praise, see what you have believed, and not worry.
Reasoning out is something that happens in the mind; however, as a child of God, you are not operating from that level. You are functioning spiritually, which cannot be explained at the mental level. But the Spirit in you has the capacity to believe, to have the peace of God, and to have assurance.
God has given you His supernatural peace. When you receive the Holy Spirit, you receive the peace and joy of the Lord. Therefore, believe in the spiritual principles, knowing that the spiritual world is more real than the temporary physical world.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the peace and joy You have deposited in my spirit. I live in this peace, and I live in this joy. Thank You so much. I refuse to worry, and I won’t let my mind dwell on sense knowledge. I thank You for the comfort of Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
