I’ve commanded you, haven’t I? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be fearful or discouraged, because the LORD your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9 ISV)
Winners are those who choose to win. Whether or not you realize it, if you haven’t chosen to win, you have actually chosen to fail. Winners have no place for discouragement, failure or fear. They don’t give up and don’t give in; no matter what!
When God chose Joshua, He told him, “..be strong and courageous. Don’t be fearful and discouraged”. Why did God tell him so, because in the way of victory there had to be challenges. Challenges are steps to promotion. Challenges are times to demonstrate faith and win over.
A guy was in a wheelchair and could not move. So a pastor prayed for him. The guy did not immediately get up from the wheelchair. Then the pastor asked him to move any part of his body. The man moved his one finger. The pastor said, “Praise God you are healed”. He moved to pray for others. The man was still in the wheelchair. But he continued moving his finger, then 2 fingers moved, then his hand moved, then both hands, then his hands were lifted up, until he moved his toes and he eventually got up and walked. If he was discouraged by only one finger moving, he would have never walked.
Winning is a decision. If you choose to win and not give up. There is no stopping for you. Glory to God!
Confession:
