He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. (Luke16:10)
Preparation is a crucial element for achieving great success. What you prepare for reflects what you are serious about. If you don’t prepare for something, it shows you’re not truly committed to it. And whatever you’re not serious about is likely to get messed up in life.
If you want to see God’s great power manifested in your life, you must prepare for it. Understand God’s wisdom, as the Bible says, ‘Do not cast your pearls before swine’ (ref. Matthew 7:6). God, our Heavenly Father, desires all of us to grow, and one of the key steps in our growth is preparation. He wants you to reach higher levels of spiritual authority. As this year’s theme reminds us, we are called to live that supernatural, glorious life in Christ. Let this be an important focus for you, and learn to prepare for it.
Our main scripture reveals that the one who is faithful with little will be entrusted with more. As a child of God, you have an area of influence—no matter how small it may seem. You have been given a measure of faith, and what you do with it is crucial. Are you preparing yourself to be strong in faith? Are you working to become more spiritually skillful? Are you growing in wisdom? Strive to reach a point where you become worthy of greater responsibility, so that He can entrust you with greater power.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for showing me the importance of preparation. I choose to live with sincerity and prepare for greatness each day. Your Word is precious to me, and I yield myself to the Holy Spirit, that I may be ready for even greater things in life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
