Though they may be able to walk, their parents show them the way—where it is safe to go and where they shouldn’t. Similarly, as you grow in your walk with the Lord, the Holy Spirit guides you, showing you safe paths and boundaries that help you grow in wisdom and faith.
Take a moment to meditate on this truth today, allowing it to settle deep within your heart: you need to depend on the Holy Spirit. When you reach a place of full conviction, where you are absolutely convinced of this need, you will stop ignoring His voice. By doing so, you will avoid wasting years, money, finances, and other precious resources of your life.
Your personal plans and ambitions can never compare to the perfect plan God has for you. You don’t know everything, and you can’t see everything. Remember, your enemy, the devil, has been deceiving mankind for thousands of years. But the good news is that God is with you, and He is on your side.
All you need to do is come to the place where you are fully convinced that you need Him. When you do, you’ll discover that His guidance is the key to unlocking your best life.
