And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32)
The truth that should matter to you, is the one that matters in the kingdom. The one that God says and reveals to you. Every floating fact or knowledge is not truth, as it adds no value to your life as a child of God. Thus, you must be sure of what knowledge you are allowing inside yourself.
Let me draw your attention to the first part of this verse: “You shall know the truth.” What does it truly mean to know? Is it merely hearing or reading something and storing it in your mind? Certainly not. The word “know” here refers to the revelation knowledge—truth that is unveiled within your spirit. It is more than intellectual understanding; it is a divine awakening where light floods your spirit, bringing clarity, conviction, and transformation.
When truth is revealed to your spirit, it doesn’t just inform you—it enlightens you. It creates a spiritual dawn, breaking through every form of darkness and leading you into the freedom that only God’s truth can bring.
God wants to give you this kind of revelation knowledge. And when you understand that it is His desire for you, you can position yourself to receive it by cultivating hunger for His truth and seeking it through
prayer.
Build an expectation in your heart. Believe in the power of truth, and let a deep excitement grow within you to receive more and more of it in your life. The more you embrace God’s revealed truth, the more it will transform you and lead you into the fullness of His purpose.
Prayer:
Dear Father, thank you for choosing me to reveal the truth. I embrace your truth alone, and keep growing in my influence as it’s your truth that matters. I mature and reach the fullness of my purpose in Christ Jesus as I give myself wholly to God’s truth. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
