And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever (John 14:16)
Holy Spirit is God’s gift to you. His ministry in your life is what makes God and His kingdom real to you.
In our main verse Master Jesus calls Him another Comforter, the word another is translated here from Greek “allos” which means “another one exactly like the previous one”. Jesus was a Comforter Himself, He meant here that Father God is going to send them another comforter who is going to be just like Jesus.
In the next verse of same chapter Jesus called Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, meaning the Spirit of reality. The one who makes known the truth and reality of any matter. The dissolver of doubts or troubles of any form.
Holy Spirit is your comforter; helper and truth definer. There are things Holy Spirit will do for you and in you, as a part of His ministry in your life and we will learn more about it in the coming day.

Precious Heavenly Father, I thank you for your everflowing love for me. Thank you for the gift of Holy Spirit. I take full advantage of His presence in my life and increase from glory to glory, fulfilling the divine purpose of my life, in Jesus Name. Amen!
