Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
God’s plan for your life will always be greater and ahead of your own plans and schemes for your life. One of the things that you must settle in your mind is that, God is more interested in your success, growth and prosperity than you can ever be.
The one problem that hinders the growth and productivity of God’s children is that, they are unable to get rid of their own plans. They continually neglect God’s instruction and direction to pursue their personal plans and ideas, which leads them to destruction and delays their actual growth as per God’s plan and God’s calendar. As a child of God you must trust your Heavenly Father.
Ephesians 2:10 says; “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them”. Therefore, you must consciously root yourself in His plan and desire for your life and get rid of your own;because that’s where the glory is, that’s where your success is, that’s where your joy is.
Prayer:
Dear Father, I put all my trust in your ever-dependable Word. I refuse to lean on my own understanding and in all my ways I acknowledge you today, and my paths are directed by you in Jesus’ mighty Name. Amen.
