And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? (Luke 24:5)
In our main verse, we see the angels were asking; the women who came to put spices on the dead body of Jesus, as to why they were seeking the one who is alive among the dead. Jesus was not there, he had risen, just as he had said. Jesus not only resurrected from the dead, he is alive. He ascended to heaven alive (ref. Luke 24:50-51).
While He is seated on the throne in heaven, he lives in you today, and manifests himself through you. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 4:11; “For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.”
Live your life aware of this reality. You serve a living God. He is the same God; who saved Daniel from lion’s den. He is the same God, who brought Israel out of Egypt. He is the same God who brought Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego out of blazing furnace. He is the same God who brought the dead Lazarus alive. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. So give up on fear. Your redeemer lives and He is with you forever.
