But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. (2 Corinthians 3:18)
It is very important that you know who exactly you are in Christ Jesus. With the knowledge of who you are, will come the boldness to be what God really made you to be. When you would know who you are, then you would understand how it is possible for your life to always go upwards and forward. You would be bold to say a “NO” to every attempt of the devil to make you live lower than your life.
The above scripture suggests that the Word of God is the mirror of God, and as we see ourselves in the mirror of the word of God we are changed into the same image by the power of God.
God has given us the light of His word that we may know who we are and what we have. In Christ we are God’s best. The more we would ground ourselves in His word the more we would be able to live the life which He prepared for us.
The bible says, “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.” (Psalm 119:130)
Prayer:
Precious Father, I thank you for your Word, which is the mirror of God. As I see myself in your mirror, I’m transformed into the glorious image you have designed for me. I am aware of who I am in Christ Jesus, and no attempt of devil can fool me out of it, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
