So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. (Revelation 3:16)
Christianity is not a religion, it’s the life of God in a human person. It’s God living His life in and through you. No matter how good a person you are, if you are not living out the life of God which is in you through Jesus Christ, you will never be able to make any impact in the kingdom of God or in this world.
Some Christians live a substandard life because they have limited themselves through their thoughts and ideas. They think it’s no point preaching the Gospel because no one would ever hear them. That makes their presence in the kingdom irrelevant. If your being in the kingdom has not added any souls to the kingdom, then you are irrelevant.
As we close this month, you must ponder upon the fact of how relevant have you been in the kingdom? If you are just a church going good Christian, and that’s all that is there about your faith in Lord Jesus, then that’s not good enough. You need to win souls, you need to participate in every activity of the Church, and you must let your partnership be seen in every program and initiative of your church. Remember, Jesus is coming very soon. We don’t have time to waste, and on that day when you stand in front of Him, no excuses will work. It’s your relevance in the kingdom which will determine your placement in heaven.
Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank you for giving me wisdom to become more and more relevant in the kingdom. I will be a master soul winner and I will show forth the praises of Him who called me to glory and virtue through my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
