The Word of God is all powerful. It has the inherent ability to make you what it talks about. It’s gives you the perspective which makes you one with the purpose for which God has specifically called you. The Word transports faith into your Spirit, and also grants you the right perspective to channelise that faith to establish the will of God on earth.
To have the perspective of the Word is very important, only then can you understand the mind of God. The reason why certain people have been Christian for years and haven’t seen any change in their lives, let alone changing lives of people around them, is that they haven’t changed their perspective according to the Word. Their location, tradition, family and world system continue to determine their perspective.
If you don’t consciously make an effort to form your perspective according to the Word of God, then the natural system of the world and its influence will form a human perspective in you, and that is dangerous. Therefore, meditate on the Word of God and you will make your way prosperous and have good success (ref. Joshua 1:8). Let God’s Word take full control of your life, that is the only way to be infallible, impregnable and victorious throughout. The Word of God is incorruptible, eternal, and alive (ref. 1 Peter 1:23). It doesn’t matter where you find yourself; if you place your trust in God’s Word and believe it, it will produce tangible results. Therefore, consciously cultivate the Word perspective in you.
Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank you for the gift of your Word. I consciously cultivate the Word perspective in me, by meditating on your Word day and night. My mind is trained to think and act the Word of God and not lean on to the understanding of this world. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
