(Joel 2:28)
God has given us the gift of prophecy. While some aspects of it operate through prophets, every believer is empowered to speak forth God’s Word and declare His promises over their lives. That should tell you that God has given you the ability and power to use your words to shape your future. Yours is to speak into your life in agreement with God’s Word.
To prophesy is to speak words that have divine potency—words that have life—so don’t despise prophecy.
Prophecy is like a guiding light. It was through prophecy that the people knew about the coming of Jesus. There were so many prophecies that the Saviour—the Messiah—would come. The only proof that God had for the people to recognize and say, “This is the Messiah,” was His Word spoken by the prophets about Christ—the Messiah.
God desires that you prophesy, because by prophesying you set the course of your life. 1 Corinthians 14:1 declares: “Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.”
Do you realise that through the gift of prophecy, you can continually walk in victory and triumph?
Yes! Prophecy empowers you to steer the direction of your life and govern circumstances within your world or ‘aion’.
Speak words of prophecy over the peace and prosperity of your nation and the nations of the world. Prophesy concerning your health, success, abundance, and daily victories. Declare prophetic words over your body, your bones, your skin, your blood, your finances, your career, your business, your studies—every area of your life! Don’t wait; begin to prophesy now!

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of prophecy. I prophesy into my life and set the course of my life according to Your perfect will. I invoke the supernatural power of God in my life and my aion through prophecy. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
