And the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (1 John 1:7)

Just like a little child who falls while learning to walk, a believer who is newly born again may stumble while learning the life of the Spirit. But just as a loving parent doesn’t reject the child for falling, neither does our Heavenly Father condemn us. Instead, He lovingly helps us understand where we fell and gives us the strength to stand and walk again.

The Word of God declares, sin shall not have dominion over you (ref. Romans 6:14). It also reminds us, If any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (ref. 1 John 2:1). God is not looking to disqualify you—He is the One who qualifies you through Christ.

Many times, the enemy tries to plant fear or guilt, suggesting that God won’t forgive you. But the Holy Spirit within you lovingly brings conviction, not condemnation. He helps you recognize what was wrong and then strengthens you to overcome it. When you open yourself in prayer, you’ll discover that God is not only willing to forgive—He’s also eager to empower you to walk in righteousness.

Celebrate God today as the One who forgives and the One who makes you stand. As you worship Him in this light, your confidence will be restored, and you’ll find yourself aligned more fully with the divine calling He has placed upon your life.

Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank You that You are the One who forgives me and makes me stand. I worship You because in Christ I am not condemned but cleansed. I open my heart to Your Spirit, and I receive strength to walk uprightly. Thank You for helping me grow and align with the great calling You have placed upon my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
