And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:6)

Our main verse talks about the authority God has vested in us. We are those who are heirs of the whole world. The kingship that we have received in Christ Jesus cannot be fulfilled in our lives until we learn to exercise this authority.

You must exercise your God-given authority and dominion over the devil and the negative forces of life. When you pray, you should minister to God as a priest and make decrees as a king. You are a king, born of the King of kings! Your words are backed with power; they contain an inherent, dynamic ability to change any negative situation and put the devil to flight. Therefore, be bold to speak in line with God’s Word. Be bold to make decrees, and whatever you decree shall be established unto you.

Exercising this authority will affect your posture and gait. It will get rid of the slouch from your walk and put some spring in your steps. It will cause you to square your shoulders, hold your head up, and walk with dignity, such that everyone around will start noticing the change in you—they will start noticing the king in you!

Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank You for Your great love. Thank You for making me seated together with Christ and giving me authority over the whole world. I exercise this authority and dominion over every negative force and cause changes, thereby making the world a better place. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
