He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself (1 Corinthians 14:4).
Through the Spirit of God comes this direct inspiration: Go and pray in tongues. This instruction may sound simple, yet it is profound and timely—it is prophetic guidance for a season like this.
The first word in this instruction is go. The word go suggests leaving behind what currently surrounds you—your thoughts, your worries, and the weight of your circumstances. God has given you power to rise above every limitation and to break free from every bondage. Don’t stay where you are; step away, set yourself apart, and pray in tongues.
When you pray in tongues, it is not merely time spent with the Spirit—it is an act of building yourself up in divine strength. You may not understand what you are speaking, but the Spirit knows. Mysteries are being declared, strategies are being released, and divine solutions are being activated.
Praying in tongues releases the power of God into your situation, gives instructions to angels assigned to you, and brings about miraculous manifestations. Needs are met, crooked paths are made straight, new doors open, and clarity comes for the next step of your life.
Don’t underestimate this. Don’t remain stuck where you are. Don’t just pray in tongues—go and pray in tongues. Step aside, rise higher, and watch as the Spirit of God lifts and repositions you into a new level of victory.
Prayer:
Precious Father, thank you for the gift of praying in tongues. I set myself apart to speak mysteries by your Spirit. As I pray, I am strengthened, lifted, and directed. I declare that new doors open, wisdom flows, and I move to the next level of glory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
