For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
(Romans 8:14)

One of the greatest gifts we have received as Christians is the privilege to fellowship with God as His own children. Nothing in the world is more valuable than this.

Fellowship means oneness. It’s a coming together; it’s a union. In Christ, we have the privilege to be called into union with the Father. The richness of this fellowship with the Father determines the quality of our life.

A person who doesn’t have constant fellowship with the Father cannot walk in the Spirit. Such a person will always have a carnal approach toward the ministry, the Church, and God’s people. Understanding the Fatherhood of God and having fellowship with Him keeps us spiritually minded (Romans 8:6).

Your fellowship with the Father — through prayer, through worship, through meditation on His Word, through fasting, and through your service in the House of God — altogether sets you apart from the rest. Without fellowship, nothing you do on earth is esteemed in Heaven. That’s why the highest and most important purpose of Christ in the plan of salvation is the call to fellowship, bringing us into fellowship with the Father. Give this fellowship utmost importance.

Prayer
Dear Father, I thank You for the privilege of fellowship with You. As a result of my relationship with You, every obstacle is demolished in my life. My glorious walk in the Spirit causes many to come into Your marvellous light. In Jesus’ precious Name, I pray. Amen.
