Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (3 John 1:2)
God not only wants you to prosper but to prosper with divine purpose. Many remember God when asking for financial increase but forget Him when spending it. Yet, the Lord has a plan even for how your resources are used. When you involve Him in every area of your finances, you sanctify them and make them channels for His glory.
Finances can either be holy or defiled depending on how they’re used. The enemy operates in spaces where God’s presence is absent, so bring God into your giving, your planning, and your spending. When you sow with the right heart and purpose, your money becomes a tool for the Kingdom.
Never carnalise your Church giving. You don’t give to fill a need—you give to express your faith and partnership with the Gospel. Your giving connects you with Heaven’s agenda and aligns your finances with divine flow. When you give in faith and ask God for wisdom for your next steps, He becomes your “how” — the one who directs your increase.
Remember, you can never want better for yourself than what God already desires for you. Trust His wisdom in financial matters and allow Him to lead your hands and decisions.
Prayer:
Precious Father, thank You for blessing me with abundance. I acknowledge You in all my financial dealings. My money, my work, and my resources are dedicated to You. Thankyou for the Holy Spirit who teaches me to spend, give, and manage according to Your will, that I may bring glory to Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
