But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)
Waiting on the Lord isn’t passive; it’s an active posture of faith, worship, and trust. Waiting on Him doesn’t mean inactivity — it means trusting, meditating on His Word, and drawing from His strength and presence daily. There are moments when contrary situations try to drain your energy and cloud your hope. But God never intended for you to live exhausted. He desires you to draw from His endless strength.
When you spend time in His presence, His power flows into your spirit, refreshing your soul and restoring your perspective. When you fellowship with God, His energy becomes your energy. His peace becomes your stability. The Spirit of God within you renews your passion and gives you the strength to soar above challenges. Like an eagle, you are not designed to struggle in storms but to rise above them.
Weariness is often a sign that we have relied too much on ourselves. But, when you let God be your source, His strength replaces your weakness, and His peace steadies your heart. Those who wait on Him always finish strong.
Therefore, refuse to be weary. Take time to worship, pray, and listen to His Word, meditate there in day and night. Renew your strength in Him.
Confession:
Lord, I wait on You and receive fresh strength today. I soar above weariness and rise with new energy and grace. Thank You for filling me with divine strength and peace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
