The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. (Psalm 23:1)

Jesus did not come to leave us wandering through life — He came to shepherd us. People search for security in possessions, relationships, and achievements, yet true rest is found only in Christ. When Jesus becomes the Shepherd of your soul, a deep assurance enters your heart: you will not lack direction, you will not lack help, and you will not lack supply. His presence becomes your safety.

The world can be unpredictable, and circumstances can change suddenly — but Jesus never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He guides with wisdom, protects with power, and comforts with love. When He leads you, no enemy can stop you, no fear can rule you, and no storm can overwhelm you. The peace of the Shepherd is greater than the pressure of the world.

The key to living in divine rest is yield yourself wholly to Him. Many struggle because they are trying to shepherd their own lives — deciding based on emotions, opportunities, and opinions. But when a believer stops striving and starts following, peace becomes unshakeable. The safest place in the world is not a location — it is the centre of His will.

This Christmas season, remind yourself to keep your confidence Christ, your Shepherd. He is not leading you into uncertainty— He is leading you into green pastures, still waters, restoration, and overflowing goodness. Hallelujah!

Prayer:
Dear Father, thank You for sending Lord Jesus as the Shepherd of my life. I rest in His leading, protection, and provision. I shall not lack guidance, security, or supply. My future is safe, my path is peaceful, and my life overflows with Your goodness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
