For they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. (Romans 10:2)
Passion without knowledge leads to destruction. Many sincerely desire to serve God but walk in instability because their zeal is not grounded in truth. What seems logical is not always what God is saying. Neither are good intentions enough to establish God’s perfect will on earth.
Israel pursued righteousness through works, while the Gentiles received it by faith. The difference was understanding. God responds to faith rooted in truth, not effort driven by ignorance.
If you truly want to live for Christ, you must know His Word. You cannot walk in truth you do not understand. Revelation brings alignment; ignorance breeds frustration. Therefore, the manifestation of God’s kingdom through you is only possible if you give yourself wholly to building yourself on the knowledge of God’s Word.
Thus, replace assumptions with revelation. Let your zeal be rooted in knowledge. Let knowledge stabilize your zeal.
Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank You for Your Word that gives me understanding. I refuse ignorance and walk in revelation knowledge. My zeal is guided by truth, and my life produces lasting results, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
