But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. (1 Timothy 6:11)
Nothing in your life is accidental. Nothing is coincidental. Your life is not a random event—it is a responsibility placed in your hands by God. Many people blame circumstances, people, or even God for where they are. But the truth is simple: what you allow, what you speak, and what you pursue shape your life.
As a child grows, there are things the parents will not do for him. He must learn to walk, he must learn to speak, and must learn to do his own chores in order to truly grow. In the same way, your spiritual life requires participation. You are not meant to sit back and watch life happen to you. You are called to rise, to pursue righteousness, and to take hold of what belongs to you.
Being a “man of God”, as mentioned in our main verse, means you are from God, your heart is with God, and your life is led by God. That means you choose what to run from and what to run toward. You flee fear, doubt, and mediocrity. You pursue faith, love, righteousness and excellence. Your choices matter.
This is your time. The time of Apostle Paul is over—now it is your generation. Take charge of your life, your home, your finances, and everything connected to you. You are bigger than you think. Walk in accordance with God’s purpose and calling for your life, don’t limit yourself.
Prayer:
Dear Father, thank You for entrusting my life into my hands. I refuse to live passively. I pursue righteousness and lay hold on eternal life. I take charge of my world and walk boldly in my divine identity, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
