We love him, because he first loved us. (1 John 4:19)

Do you love Jesus? That’s a powerful question. But here’s a deeper one—why do you love Him? It’s important that you have an answer. Our love for Jesus is not emotional excitement or religious habit. We love Him because He is real. He is not distant, not abstract, not unreachable. He is relatable. You can sense Him in your spirit. You can hear His voice guiding you.

The fullness of God dwells in Jesus. When you receive Him, God becomes real in your everyday life. This is not theory—it is relationship. You are not trying to reach God; you belong to Him. You are His own. And He sees you as His own. That changes everything.

The cross was not the end of His love—it was the beginning. His sacrifice made you His, but His care continues daily. Jesus cares for you more than you could ever care for yourself. His attention toward you did not stop at salvation; it continues in guidance, protection, and provision.

You don’t love Jesus because you are trying to impress Him. You love Him because He first loved you. You are His son. You are accepted. You are known. And when that truth settles in your heart, loving Him becomes natural.

Prayer:
Dear Father, thank You for loving me first. Thank You that I belong to You and that You care for me daily. I receive the revelation of Your love, and I walk confidently as Your son. My relationship with You is real and alive, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
