But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. (Romans 8:9)
There’s a difference between being big and being great. Being big is a position. And, greatness is a nature. Positions can change. Titles can fade. But greatness? That’s who you are in the Spirit.
The moment you received the Holy Spirit, the character of greatness entered you. You didn’t become ordinary with a spiritual label. You became spiritually empowered. But here’s the question—are you filled with the Spirit daily? Because greatness that is not stirred can look inactive. It’s like iron left unused—it begins to rust.
Your spiritual life is not a side department of your life. It is the main driver. A car without a driver is useless. In the same way, if your spirit is weak, your outward activities will lack direction. Being filled with the Spirit is not optional—it’s essential.
So don’t chase greatness outside. Recognize it inside. Fill yourself with the Spirit. Function from that place. You are not trying to become great. You are releasing what is already within you. Hallelujah!
Prayer:
Dear Father, thank You for placing greatness inside me through Your Spirit. I choose to prioritize my spiritual life. I’m filled with Spirit daily and I reflect Your greatness daily, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
