But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. (Romans 8:9)
As a Christian one thing you must ask yourself is—are you living from the inside, or are you reacting to everything outside? There’s a big difference. Many believers know they have the Spirit, but they don’t actually live through Him.
You are already great in the Spirit. Not trying to be. Not becoming. But, already. But greatness is not noise. It’s nature. And if you don’t stay filled with the Spirit, that greatness won’t reflect in your daily decisions. It’s like having treasure locked in a room you rarely enter.
Your spiritual life is not secondary. It is not something you “fit in.” It is more important than breathing. Because a man who is disconnected from the Spirit may look active physically, but spiritually he is inactive. And the spiritual realm is the realm that truly governs outcomes.
Therefore, consciously fill yourself with the Spirit. Pray. Worship. Stir your spirit intentionally. The Bible instructs “ ….but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God” (Ephesians 5:18-21). Remember, When you function from the inside, your outside begins to align.
Prayer:
Dear Father, thankyou for training me to live from the Spirit and not from outward pressure. I choose to value my spiritual life above everything else. As I’m filled with the Spirit Your greatness flows through me daily, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
