For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. ( Galatians 5:1)

In Christ Jesus, we have been brought out of all bondage, that of the law, that of satan and that of the world. He has given us perfect liberty in Him. However, many still find themselves struggling with the world and its elements. This happens because they have not learnt to cultivate the right mindset, through the Word of God.

Mindset is not the process of thinking. Mindset actually refers to; a habitual or characteristic mental attitude that determines how you interpret and respond to situations. Each and everyone has a mindset, that they have cultivated over time, what matters however is the origin of ones mindset.

Only the Word of God must frame and shape your mental attitude and disposition to life. Once you receive Christ, you must cultivate your mindset in the righteousness of Christ; studying and meditating on the Word of God.

Having the right mindset is not a gift, neither can you get it by just praying. Mindset needs to be cultivated over time. You have to suffuse and inundate yourself with the Word, studying and meditating on it daily. Then, you’d find that your thinking processes have been altered; your mental attitude and mental appreciation of things have improved. Christ mindset will cause you to think of victory, sufficiency, divine health and joy. You will cease to worry or think of defeat or danger. Make a decision today, to cultivate the right mindset and bask in God’s glory.

Prayer:
Precious Heavenly Father, I thank you for the gift of your Word. I cultivate the mindset of Christ through the constant study and meditation of God’s Word. I interpret circumstances and situations from the standpoint of your Word alone, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!
