I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. (John 15:5)
When Jesus says He’s the vine and we’re the branches, He’s saying that we’re His extension, His beauty, and His glory. If you abide in Him you will always be fruitful. The issue with many is that they don’t abide in Him truly, and thus fail to be fruitful.
To abide in Him means to live your life, in and by His Word. It means you walk worthy of Him and please Him in all things. Such that, when people meet you or listen to you, they’ll be able to testify of God’s goodness, grace, greatness, and love.
There are those who never get to complete or finish the projects or ideas they are involved in. That’s because they are not truly abiding in the fruitful vine, Jesus Christ. But, yours is different story, you are in Him, a fruitful branch. Whatever it is that you do, the Spirit of God is at work in you to bring it to fruition. Affirm this about you always. As you walk with the Lord in the light of His Word, there will be no dry season for you. You will bear fruits in all seasons and at all times.
Confession:
I abide in Jesus Christ, and I’m fruitful and productive in all I do. I’m God’s extension, beauty and glory. Therefore everything I do prospers in the Name of Jesus. I never fail to accomplish and bring to perfection all that is committed to my trust. Hallelujah!
