Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. (Colossians 2:7 KJV)
God instructs us in His Word that we must abound in thanksgiving. Our life in Christ is a testimony of God’s grace and liquid love, yet there are Christians who always complain. Don’t be that way.
Some people have not understood that thanksgiving is a power and that’s the reason God wants us to make it our lifestyle. They thank God when all seems to go well and the moment a challenge seems to appear in front of them, they start grumbling, and complaining. That’s a low life. Those people who are thankful, face every challenge and overcome it, getting bigger. Challenges are our steps to next level, and thanksgiving is our way to go through those steps successfully.
David was a man of a thanksgiving heart, even when his son died, he went to the House of God to worship the Lord, no wonder he was the most successful king (2 Samuel 12:20). Listen, God loves you and desires your success and your joy more than you do. Quit complaining and grumbling, but instead, abound in thanksgiving always and you will hasten your success.

Dear Father, I thank you for teaching me the essence of thanksgiving. I love you my Father, and I shall always abound in thanksgiving, trusting you; because I know that you love me and your plans for me are for my success and growth, in Jesus Name. Amen!
