And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.(Luke 11:9)
When you pray in tongues, in the Spirit, you are creating situations and circumstances that favor you. These situations are meant to favor you—favor for your work, your finances, and even your ministry of winning souls. It is very important that you remain alert in your spirit so that you never miss the opportunities that God creates for you. One of the ways that can help you develop an alert spirit is by seeking it. The Bible talks about being hungry and thirsty for righteousness (Ref. Matthew 5:6). When you are seeking opportunities to win souls, the next time the Spirit of God creates such an opportunity, you will be able to identify it and take advantage of it. Winning souls is not just a duty that you perform physically; rather, it is a spiritual work that you execute from the realm of the Spirit.
Include this desire in your times of prayer. While you are praying in tongues, have a strong desire to win souls. Not only will you be able to recognize opportunities, but you will also have the boldness and power to preach and share the gospel. Signs and wonders will definitely follow you as you do so.
The fulfillment you receive and the joy you experience in leading a person to Christ is indescribable. Until you experience it, you won’t ever know it.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for loving me and choosing me to bear fruit. I seek opportunities to win souls, and I hunger and desire to be used by You in saving souls. As I pray today, I ask that You help me recognize those opportunities, and I trust that Your Spirit within me will empower me to win souls for Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
