Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. (2 Corinthians 3:6)
Several times in their Christian walk when believers and ministers of God are pressed with challenges, they begin to doubt their calling. Challenges mean nothing but bread to move ahead, in the life of a Christian. Every challenge is an effective springboard to take you several laps ahead in glory. Thus, you must never doubt the authenticity of your calling when you encounter a challenge or opposition.
Don’t look at your challenges and wonder, if God really called you. Those challenges are placed by Satan, because he is aware of your calling to greatness and all he seeks is to distract you from your calling. Satan is an expert of distractions. But, we have the authority to cast him out.
The fact that you desire to please God, is the greatest sign that you are called by Him for His purpose. Thus, you must ignite this desire by prayer, consistent study of the Word and constant fellowship with the Spirit. Never allow your sense knowledge and reasoning to dictate you. Doubt is a creation of human reasoning, caused by distracting forces. You are a spiritual being, your thoughts are from above.
You must set your life in a way that the Spirit of God can talk to you even your laughter. Then no doubt will ever creep into your life and you will be shining by the power of the Holy Spirit. You are called to be a great instrument in God’s hand, don’t allow any doubt to enter in your life. Set your focus on our Lord Jesus Christ, He alone is truth and life.
Prayer:
Glorious Father, I thank you for the great calling to which you have called me. I’m not moved by senses but I’m led by the Spirit at all times and in all situations. I take every challenge as meat and grind it with my faith making immense advancement in and for the kingdom of God.I’m certain about my calling to greatness in this Gospel of my Lord Jesus. I’m confident of the power and glory of Christ deposited in me to accomplish all that I’m called for. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
