To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27)
To be mature as a Christian, you must consciously and continuously be mindful of the life of Christ in you. That is called consciousness of Christ life. Our Lord Jesus said: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). This life that he came to give us is the life of God manifested in us through Christ.
Someone who is not conscious of this supernatural life can never live according to God’s will and plan. The life in you is the supernatural life of Christ. Christ has fully tabernacled in you! You have become His living headquarters; He looks through your eyes and walks with your legs because you’ve become His vessel; His body.
Thus, spiritual maturity cannot be attained without being conscious of Christ life. The consciousness of the life of Christ in you will make you invincible and eternally triumphant. That’s the life of a mature son of God. That’s your life.
Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank you for giving me the life of Christ-the wondrous, incorruptible, imperishable, miracle-life of God. I’m conscious of this life at all times. I live my life impacting my world for my Lord Jesus Christ, because I’m conscious of my divinity in Him. In Jesus’ Precious Name. Amen!
